Long before tequila captured the world’s attention, Laszlo was deep in the heart of Mexico’s agave country, not just exploring flavors but challenging how people experience tequila itself.

Driven by a deep respect for the craft, he set out to redefine tequila — creating a spirit rooted in authenticity, bold in character, and rich in complexity. His goal wasn’t just to make great tequila, but to re-educate the world: this is not a party shot, but a refined, sippable spirit that deserves to be appreciated.

Though his original plan was to launch in the U.S., the pandemic forced a pivot — starting instead in Perth, Western Australia. It wasn’t easy. In a city unfamiliar with premium tequila, Laszlo faced an uphill battle. But he persisted, going venue to venue, sharing his passion and explaining what made his tequila so different.

At the time, most people associated tequila with bad hangovers and blurry memories. It was misunderstood, often dismissed. Laszlo made it his mission to change that. While many only listened to celebrity-backed brands, he focused on educating people — one conversation at a time — about what 100% blue agave tequila should taste like.
